By placing an order with RUA, you acknowledge and fully agree to our cancellation and return policies. 

CANCELLATIONS

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase and a full refund will be given. Cancellation requests made after this time may still be issued at the shop's discretion if work has not begun on the item.

RETURN POLICY 

We are unable to exchange or return piercing jewellery. This is due to hygiene reasons and does not affect your statutory rights.

We are unable to offer a refund on a personalised jewellery order. This means that we cannot provide a refund on any item that has been specially altered or personalised in any way (this includes piercing chains).

For non-piercing jewellery such as rings and necklaces’, you must contact us within 14 days of receiving the item, and you will have a further 14days to send the item back to us. Items must be returned in a fully resalable condition, which means being unused and in the original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse a return on items deemed not to be resealable.

If the above conditions are met, a full refund (minus initial shipping costs) will be issued within 10 working days. 

Buyer is responsible for all costs associated with the return, including but not limited to, shipping and transit costs in both directions, any customs duties, taxes and charges in both directions. 

FAULTY RETURNS

If your jewellery is faulty or not as described, you must contact us within 3 working days to arrange an exchange, repair, or refund. These are offered on a case-by-case basis and at the shop’s discretion. 

The buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs. 

For international returns, items must be marked as a ‘return’ on the customs document.

6-MONTH THREADLESS END WARRANTY 

Some of our pieces come with at 6-month warranty, offering a free of charge repair should the pin break. In the unlikely event that the pin is unable to be repaired, store credit for the value of the original order amount will be given. 

Buyer accepts that the repair is offered free of charge but is responsible for all costs associated with the return, including but not limited to, shipping and transit costs in both directions, any customs duties, taxes and charges in both directions. 

For international repairs, items must be marked as a ‘repair’ on the customs document.

RUA holds no responsibility for jewellery until it arrives in our studio, and we cannot be held responsible for any issues or losses during transit. It is recommended that the buyer obtains a proof of postage and insures the items for the full value during transit so that the buyer may claim compensation from the shipping provider in the event of a loss or damage, as RUA cannot process a refund without receiving the item.
